OPERATION TARSHISH
Operation Tarshish is a ministry which God has raised up to bring His Covenanted Peoples, the Jews, home to Israel, the Land He swore on oath to give them.
The Word of God also tells us that it is Christians (believing Gentiles) who will bring them home. (Isaiah 49:22) Do you have a boat, yacht or ship, or just love sailing, and are willing to be used by the God of Israel in these end-times to bring His children home - as foretold by the Prophets? PROPHETIC FULFILLMENT
God tells us in the Bible that ships will be used to rescue His Covenant peoples, the Jews, from the land of the North - Former Soviet Union (FSU) - and all the countries to where He has scattered them, and He is going to bring them back to Israel, the land He gave to their forefathers.

We have the privilege to be living in the days when these ancient prophecies, some more than 2,500 years old, are being fulfilled before our very eyes! Dare we ignore what God is doing in these end-times? No! The time is upon us to put our every effort, our whole being, our very "heart and soul", into this awesome work which God is performing now, with "all His heart and soul!"

OPERATION TARSHISH'S COMPASS BEARINGS
The prophet Jeremiah told us (Chapter 16 verse 16) that first God would send Fishers, to "fish" His people back, and then He would send the Hunters, to "hunt them down." The Fishers are already at work, with many Christian teams working in the FSU to call the Jews home - but we also see the anti-Semitic "hunters" already at work.
Operation Tarshish believes that when the doors close for Jews to leave the FSU, and persecution begins on a massive scale, that will be the time when "the ships of Tarshish" shall be called upon by God, to bring His scattered children home. We believe this will happen soon!
We hope that many with small boats, yachts and ships, will be ready to leave the safety of their harbors, and venture out across the seas to help in this massive regathering of the Jews. God tells us in His word that Gentiles will be used in this great move of His. (Isaiah 49:22) Are you ready to be available if our Captain commands?
In July of 1995, Operation Tarshish was represented on a ship reenacting the 1947 voyage of the Exodus, which attempted unsuccessfully to bring Jews to Palestine, as Israel was then called! On the 47 Exodus there was a Christian minister, the Rev. John Stanley Grauel, who has gone down in history for the blessing he was to those early pioneers.

WHERE IS OPERATION TARSHISH HEADING?
The course on which God has Operation Tarshish heading at the present time is to make captains, skippers, and those with ships, as well as prayer partners and those committed to helping the Jews come home, more aware of the situation in the FSU, elsewhere in the Diaspora, and in Israel. We are hoping that when the time is right, and the huge tsunami of Jews fleeing to Israel begins, then those who have been receiving the Operation Tarshish newsletters will be aware of the situation, will have been praying for the Jews, and will know in which way the Lord would have them carry out their duties. Then they will move, according to our Captain's commands.

Operation Tarshish's map is the Bible! There are many Scriptures referring to the Second Exodus, which is taking place even now.
Here are just a few:

Isaiah 60:9 - Surely the islands look to me; in the lead are the ships of Tarshish, bringing your sons from far, with their silver and gold, to the honor of the LORD our God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor.
Isaiah 43:5, 6 - Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, `Give them up!' and to the south, `Do not hold them back.' Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth--
Jeremiah 16:14,15 - "However, the days are coming," declares the LORD, "when men will no longer say, `As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt,' but they will say, `As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.' For I will restore them to the land I gave their forefathers.
Jeremiah 16:16 - "But now I will send for many fishermen," declares the LORD, "and they will catch them. After that I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them down on every mountain and hill and from the crevices of the rocks.
Isaiah 49:22 - This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "See, I will beckon to the Gentiles, I will lift up my banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders.
Ezekiel 36:8 - "But you O mountains of Israel, will produce branches and fruit for my people Israel, or they will soon come home.
Ezekiel 36:24 - "`For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land.
Ezekiel 37:12 - Therefore prophesy and say to them: `This is what the Sovereign LORD says: O my people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel.
Ezekiel 39:28 - Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, for though I sent them into exile among the nations, I will gather them to their own land, not leaving any behind.
Deuteronomy 30:3,4 - Then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where He scattered you. Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under heaven, from there the Lord your God will gather you and bring you back.
Operation Tarshish Statement of Faith

The Bible, both Tenach (Old Testament) and Brit Hadasha (New Testament), is the divinely inspired and infallible Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20,21)

God is the One and Only True God, All-wise, All-powerful, All-knowing, All-loving, Omni-present, Creator God.

God is a Unity consisting of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Isaiah 9:6b, Matthew 28:19)

The Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus) is God's Only Begotten Son (Proverbs 30:4; Psalm 2:7), and is the only Mediator between God and man. (1 Timothy 2:5)

God the Father revealed Himself through the Scriptures of the Tenach, and has now revealed Himself through His Son, the Messiah Yeshua. (Hebrews 1:2,3)

Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah), in His first coming as a man, fulfilled the Tenach by becoming "one sacrifice for sin," thereby replacing the sacrifices of the Old Covenant, and is now our only means of obtaining Redemption. (Hebrews 9:12) He rose from the dead and now sits at the right hand of the Father in glory (Psalm 110:1)

All men have sinned (Romans 3:23)

Justification (being accounted righteous before a Holy God) comes only through repentance and faith in Yeshua (John 3:16; Luke 24:27)

Salvation is by grace through faith as a gift of God. (Ephesians 2:8)

The Holy Spirit indwells all believers and He gives power for service and gifts for the benefit of the Body of Messiah. (John 14:23; Romans 8:9-11; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12)

The Church, or Body of the Messiah, consists of all believers born of the Spirit and justified by faith, both Jew and Gentile. (Romans 10:12)

The Jewish people will be restored to the Land of Israel in fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy, and the restored Nation of Israel will have a predominant role to play in God's final purposes with mankind. (Ezekiel 39:28; Isaiah 2:1-4; Isaiah 11:11,12;)

Yeshua will soon return as Lord and Messiah, King of Israel and Saviour of the world. (Zechariah 14:4; Matthew 16:27; Acts 1:11)
